Terms of Service.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using Weave, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use Weave. We may update these terms as the product evolves, and we'll post the latest version here.

2. What Weave is

Weave is a voice-and-text journal that helps you notice emotional patterns in your own writing over time. It runs entirely on your device. We continue to improve it, and functionality, pricing, and availability may change over time; we'll do our best to keep you informed along the way.

3. Who can use Weave

You must be at least 16 years old to use Weave. By using Weave, you confirm that any information you give us - like your email address, if you contact us - is accurate and belongs to you.

4. Your journal, your content

Anything you write or speak into Weave belongs to you - we don't claim ownership over it. You're solely responsible for what you choose to record. Your entries are processed on your own device to provide the product back to you (for example, surfacing patterns and reflections); Weave does not receive, store, or process your entries on any server, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Reflections aren't professional advice

Weave's AI-generated reflections and patterns are meant to help you understand your own writing - they are not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and Weave is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you're in crisis or need support, please reach out to a licensed professional or local emergency services.

6. Weave Pro subscription

Weave offers a 7-day free trial, after which continued use requires a Weave Pro subscription at $3.99/month (US; prices vary by region). Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Payments are handled by Apple - Weave never receives your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

7. Using Weave responsibly

Please don't use Weave to do anything unlawful, to harm others, or to interfere with how the product works for anyone else.

8. Changes, pauses, and ending the relationship

Features and availability may change as we continue to build Weave. You can stop using Weave at any time - and because your data lives only on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. We may also end access for anyone who misuses the product or violates these terms.

9. No warranties, limited liability

Weave is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weave and its team aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product.

10. Apple App Store terms

Weave is distributed through the Apple App Store, and the following applies to the iOS app:

  • This agreement is between you and Weave (the developer), not Apple.
  • Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or to handle warranty claims for it.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

These terms also incorporate Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where they differ, the terms on this page govern your use of Weave.
